Welcome to Barden Primary School. 

It is wonderful that you are considering applying to our school for your children to start their school journey.

The deadline to apply for a primary school place for September 2026 was 15 January 2026.  

Lancashire County Council will now look at all applications and all preferences are considered against the published admissions policy. Where there are more applications than places available, decisions are made as to which children should be offered the available places. 

On Thursday 16 April 2026 you will receive an email giving you an offer of a school.

You will soon be getting an email from Lancashire County Council telling you whether you have been successful in being allocated Barden Primary School for your child.

We will then contact you to see if you will be accepting your child's place and officially welcome you to Barden.   Paperwork will be sent out to fill in and online documents.  There will be opportunities for visits to school and for a home visit.
