Spellings

Each week children will be given a list of spellings on a Monday. Children will have a week to practise them before a test the following Monday.

Times tables

It is essential in year 5 children are confident with their times tables. Children should log into TT rockstars to practise.

Reading

Children should be reading at home every night. 

Reading Records will be monitored each week and children will receive a gold star stamp and a raffle ticket for 5 adult signatures.

Each week, 2  tickets are drawn out of the Golden Box-these lucky children will receive a 'Golden Ticket' and will be invited to join Mrs Holgate's Special Story Time at the end of each half term.
