This week a farm has come to Barden!  Farmers Stacey and Sarah Jane brought along the animals from ‘Allday’s Farm’ in a horse box.  The children were taught what the animals were called, what their young were called, the names of the female and male animal, what they ate and so much more.  Please talk to your child about the visit and write what they said below.  If they would like to draw a picture of the animals that would be great.  Happy talking!

This week we have been learning about pets.  We have talked about what a pet is and what animals would make ideal pets.  Some of the teachers have made videos of themselves with their pets which have been fun to watch.  Talk to your child about looking after a pet.  Ask your child if they could choose any pet what pet would they have and why?  Write below what your child says.  If they would like to draw a picture of their favourite type of pet then draw it below.  If you have a pet feel free to send a photograph or video of it to our class email.
