Our current topic is called-Let’s Celebrate. We began our learning with a HOOK/PARTY! We will continue to add photos to this section as we progress with our learning.

Our new topi is called-Let’s Celebrate We thoroughly enjoyed our PARTY We had a dance off! We had great fun with our friends. We won bubbles We played musical statues We made placemats and ate come party food. We played lots of games and many children won PRIZES We talked about the primary colours. We painted the rainbows with primary colours. We made 3 new colours. Red and blue made purple. Blue and yellow made green. Red and yellow made orange.

We had fun creating our own stem sentences about fruit and vegetables. We used our phonics knowledge to create a simple sentences. We worked together to write our own stem sentences. We wrote our own super sentences. We are getting good really good at using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. We like to use Kung Fu Punctuation-BECAUSE. We talked about how Mr Broccoli felt after being drawn on... Shocked. Upset Grumpy Angry We made our own Mr and Mrs Broccoli using play doh.

We’ve been practising adding two numbers together with a variety of resources. We used number cards when adding one more to a number. We like to use Numicom when solving number problems. We had fun with beanbags helping us to create number sentences. We enjoyed learning with Mike the monkey and his bananas. We wrote our own number sentences. We used ladybirds and counters to help us with our number bonds. Practising our number sentences. We used frogs and lily pads. We also sung five little speckled frogs.

Our first topic this year was called-We are wonderful. We hope you enjoy the pictures you can see!

I went on silver for producing an amazing piece of homework. We created fruit faces on the iPads. We used mirrors to look at our features. We enjoyed creating faces. We created some amazing self portraits. We spent lots of time looking into mirrors. We used our imagination whilst playing with the dolls house and accessories. What can you hear? What can you taste? Oooohhhh..... What can you taste? What can you see? What can you smell? We enjoying tasting crisps? We used our noses to smell? What can you feel? We talked about the different flavours we could taste. What can you smell? We created our own Picasso artwork. We moved around the classroom using a variety of colouring apparatus. We first added our features with a dark felt tip. We created some fabulous artwork We talked about where we live and sent our postcards in the post. We sent our postcards to our houses. Our classroom display of all the work we have created.
