THE SUMMER READING CHALLENGE
The Summer Reading Challenge, presented by The Reading Agency, is delivered in partnership with public libraries and funded by Arts Council England.
The Challenge encourages children ages 4 to 11 to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure over the summer holidays, providing lots of fun and enjoyment as well as helping to prevent the summer reading "dip".

Your task was to create the most "imaginative" EASTER BOOKMARK using things from around your home.
We had a some great creations and all of our entries were awarded with some Easter treats.
Well done to all those children who took the time to get involved.

Our latest We Are Reading assignment was to link up with another local school and gift each other 10 books.

INTERNATIONAL DOT DAY
On Friday 13th September children and staff came to school wearing clothes with dots and spots.
Every class was introduced to the book-The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds. During the week children and staff were involved in a variety of activities with a dotty theme.
