Autumn 1
We have settled into school wonderfully. We have painted our first painting at school, created and travelled around an obstacle course, written messages to a super hero, constructed, sorted and so much more.
We have been learning to name parts of our bodies. We have painted self portraits, looking carefully in a mirror to see the shape of our face, the colour of our hair and eyes and the length of our hair. We used big and small paintbrushes.
We have been creating patterns, repeating patterns, colour patterns and patterns using natural materials.
We have been measuring, comparing lengths, building towers, measuring our feet and using lots of measuring language.
We have been learning about real life heroes, creating natural pictures, making superhero hideouts and working in all the areas of the classroom.
