PE

This half term, PE will be on a Monday and a Friday. Children's PE kits should remain in school until half term, when we will send them home.

Reading 

Please try to read with your child at home each night. It really supports the work we are doing in school. When you read with your child, please sign their reading record. Your child is working towards winning exciting prizes including a ticket to visit Mrs Holgate's tea party! We love to know what you're reading at home too so if you and your child read something else for a bedtime story or just for fun record this too!

How can you help?

Lots of parents ask how they can support their child. Reading at home regularly, encouraging your child to play Times Table Rock Stars regularly and practising spellings all have a big impact in class. We have also included a link to handwriting help below. This isn't our cursive handwriting but it will help your child know where the letter should start and end. We are working on this in class and trying hard to get the perfect presentation award or a pen license.
