Homework:

Spellings: You should all have a weekly test booklet, this outlines the spelling for each week. The spellings are discussed in class on a Monday and are tested on Friday. It is really important that children learn these so they can apply them in their class work.

Daily Reading: Children are expected to read five times a week, as per the English Lead's advice. Parents/Guardians should sign their children's Reading Record when they have read with their children.

Times Tables: Year 4 have a Times Tables Assessment in the Summer Term. The children are required to know all of their times tables up to x12 and will answer 25 questions with an allocated time of 6 seconds per question. Please ensure that your child completes the weekly Times Table activities. It would also be great if they could log into Times Table Rock Stars as much as possible.

Wednesdays and Fridays, please ensure your child has their PE kit in school. This should not be taken home until the end of the term, unless it needs washing.
