Welcome to Owlets R!

 Our new theme is - 'If you go down to the woods today.....' 

We will be visiting our wonderful woodland area, investigating, trees, bugs and traditional tale characters!  There might even be a teddy bear picnic! 

We will be sharing the books - Jack and the Beanstalk and Goldilocks and the three bears.

Every morning we have fun with Fred Frog practising and learning new sounds and words in the Read Write Inc sessions.  We will be holding a sentence in our heads and write simple sentences.  Following this we have communication time.  We have Magic Maths learning new mathematical knowledge in a fun way and then it is book time and writing.   In the afternoon we have story time, rhyme time and Vocab Ninja! Every afternoon has a different focus - Re, Music, Woodland Adventures, P.E. Circle Time, Our Wonderful World, Healthy Heroes, Create and Imagine and lots more!  Finishing off the day with Key Person time, where children have a chance to chat, have a healthy snack and to review the day's learning.  We learn in our inside and outside classroom in all weathers!

PE Day - Every Friday - We are focusing on functional motor skills in our PE lessons.  Running, jumping, hopping, throwing and catching.  We talk about the changes that happen to our bodies when we do exercise.

Outside Adventures - Every Wednesday - We like to investigate the environment around us including the woodland area on campus and our local environment.
