Welcome to Eaglets R!

Our new theme is - 'If you go down to the woods today.....' 

We will be visiting our wonderful woodland area, investigating, trees, bugs and traditional tale characters!  There might even be a teddy bear picnic! 

 

We will go on a mini beast hunt and learn about the smallest of creatures!

 

 

We will be sharing the books - Jack and the Beanstalk and Goldilocks and the three bears.

   

 

Every morning we have fun with Fred Frog practising and learning new sounds and words in the Read Write Inc sessions.  We will be beginning to hold a sentence in our heads and writing simple sentences.  We have Magic Maths learning new mathematical knowledge in a fun way and then it is book time and writing.   In the afternoon we have story time, rhyme time and Vocab Ninja! Every afternoon has a different focus - Re, Music, Woodland Adventures, P.E. Circle Time, Our Wonderful World, Healthy Heroes, Create and Imagine and lots more!  Finishing off the day with Key Person time, where children have a chance to chat, have a healthy snack and to review the day's learning.  We learn in our inside and outside classroom in all weathers!

PE

PE Day - Every Monday - We are focusing on functional motor skills in our PE lessons.  Running, jumping, hopping, throwing and catching.  We talk about the changes that happen to our bodies when we do exercise.

Outside Adventures - Every Thursday - We like to investigate the environment around us including the woodland area on campus and our local environment.
