Welcome to Summer Term 1

Our topic this half-term is 'Our Local area'

Our focus subjects this half-term are Geography and DT
In Geography, we are learning about our local area.  We will look at lots of maps and focus on the human and physical features around where we live.  In DT we are learning about wind turbines.

In English, we are using a narrative text to help us with our learning. We will be reading 'NO-BOT' by Sue Hendra & Paul Linnet.

We are really enjoying all the different books we have been reading, and the children are enjoying reading them independently in our reading area. 

Don’t forget PE days are Mondays and Wednesdays.  Please make sure your children have their PE kits in school.

If you haven’t sent in your child’s wellies, please try to send them in as soon as possible.
