Welcome to Goldfinches 2! This half-term our topic is Brilliant Burnley. We have been learning all about the town we live in, Burnley, and learning about the houses and jobs that make up our town. Our class novel this half-term is The Truth Pixie by Matt Haig. In English, we are focusing our writing on the book, Wind and the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. We will be looking at writing our own stories, poetry and letters.

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Please remember your PE kits.
Please make sure all uniform items have name labels on them.

On Fridays, we will have a spelling test. Words will be sent home with children on Mondays.
